EVO Big Eyes mask

A design exercise to the limit that improves the already optimal visibility in all directions of the Matrix and reduces weight and interior volume to parameters typical of much smaller masks (160 g and 115 cm3).

The exceptionally reduced structure of the frame allows a great approach to the lenses without problems of contact with the frame. Therefore, the internal volume is reduced to an absolute minimum and any view of the frame from the inside is nullified. The 15º inclined lenses and extended above the cheekbones ("Big Eyes" system) increase lower visibility by more than 30% compared to that of a traditional mask, while upper and lateral visibility are increased up to the limit allowed by the thickness of the frame itself: Total vision - 3% in superior visibility and total vision -5% in lateral visibility.

The structural rigidity of the central bridge has been particularly studied to avoid the loss of the plane of the crystals due to an excess of tension of the strip that could cause optical distortions.

The outer lip of the facepiece in contact with the face and the area that covers the nose have a decreasing thickness that improves adaptation and maintains comfort during long hours of use.

Also noteworthy are the buckles, completely pivoting in all directions and attached to the frame by means of a flexible and unbreakable elastomer. The tension of the strip acts directly on the frame, maintaining the stability of the mask and bringing the glass as close to the eyes as possible.
